Mrs T, is my hairdresser (she always have funky hair that I love), she knew I did photography but decided to book me for a family session after seeing some photo's I took from one of her friends (love client referrals, so keep them coming).
This shoot got rescheduled a couple of times. The first time was because Miles was sick (he had gastro), and I didn't want to make anyone else sick. Well it ended up on the day of the shoot I felt like crap too, so it's just as well we rescheduled. The next time, was because my stupid diary had labour day on the wrong day! It had it listed down as the 7th, rather than the 14th! I think those people over in diary land need to get their facts straight, cause this isn't the first time something has happened like that. I have seen a calendar (one printed by a school too mind you), that had Australia Day listed as the 25th January!
Anyway, so the 5th of March is the day we had our photoshoot. It was such a fantastic autumn day. I think we are going to have a better autumn than we have had a summer. Drove out to their house for a location shoot, and had a great time, it was relaxed, which is exactly what you want.
Miss J and Master L were a pleasure to photograph too. I got all my editing done too! I had no kids to distract me! I was on a roll.
I hope Mrs T and the O Family enjoy the shots I created for them.

T Family Sneak Peak
O the 26th February, I had the pleasure of photographing the T Family, in a wonderful garden over in Ararat.
This garden was in bloom! Wow were there lots of colours.
I had fun shooting this family. And thank goodness for my giggle pets, and bubbles, what kid doesn't like bubbles! I like how the bubbles made a feature in one of the shots too, gives it this burst of colour that I really like.

Master K
Thank goodness for fake flooring, was the best $20 I ever spent!
Mothers Group Session
On Friday 21st Jan I had a mothers group session. It was 5 mums and 6 kids. It was big, and it took a while, but it was loads of fun.
I took around 200 shots in a space of 90 minutes. The editing took the longest. But the kids were at their dads for the weekend, so I got all my editing done in 1 day! Which was awesome, I was on a roll with the editing. I just couldn't stop cause I was in love with the images and how they turned out.
Here is a sneak peak of some from the day.

Even though it was a hot day, I really loved the light and colour of these images. Needless to say this location is a winner and I will be shooting there again.

W Family
I first met Bec in our mothers group 4 years ago. Our daughters were born on the same day. (Not at the same hospital however, it would have been cool if it was though).
Well Bec no longer lives in Stawell :( she moved to NSW to be closer to her family (family is important), however she did come to Stawell (before Christmas), to celebrate a wedding. While she was here, I got to capture her family, and also meet the new W addition Master N. Oh he is so cute!

I love capturing the love of families.
Master A & Miss J
Master A and Miss J are siblings, and I was lucky enough to do a smash cake with Master A and then a baby portrait sessions with Miss J.
Master A was very eager to get into that cake. He wanted to use a fork (just like my boy), but he still had lots of fun with it either way.

And then there was Miss J. Oh she has these amazing blue eyes, and was just very cute. Did not want to sit still, but I got some very cute shots of her all the same.

Sneak Peaks!
I've been working hard (not hardly working) this month, and that is why I haven't updated as often as I would have liked. Updating the blog was on the lower end of my list of priorities.
But now that my sessions have finished for the year (I am taking bookings for 2011), I figure it's time I give you some sneak peaks.
These Sneak Peaks are not in the order I shot them, the are just they way they uploaded to photobucket. Click on the images to make them bigger.

The G Family
This was a 2 session shoot, a Family session and then a smash cake. Master O however was not interested in cake, and preferred to eat his cookie, still make for some very cute shots. This sneak peak is of the family. You can just see the love.
The T Family (again)
I few weeks before this shoot, I shot the T family (Grandmother and her son, and their son), so again the T family but the other son. I took lots of photo's on this day. But that's to be expected when you have lots of people. Master A is in green and Master Z is in blue (they are the twins), then there was Master M, who was cheeky in his own way.
The A Family
This photo shoot was done in 30 minutes (i normally allocate 45 mins to an hour). However because I was not dealing with kids under 5 the shoot ran really smoothly.
Miss C - Cake Smash
This was suppose to be an outdoor cake smash, but it decided to rain that day, and lots of rain. However by the time the shoot came around the rain stopped, but everything was too wet. So we did this indoors. Shooting indoors has been a really learning curve for me but I still captured the moment.

Image Updating
I've been updating images on my website.
Thank you to all those who signed releases so I was able to do so.
More changes will be coming. Will be updating my gallery with new images.
In other news, I did a family portrait sitting for the T Family. Three Generations. Out on a farm! I love farms. I was blessed with weather. Shoot was at 11am. I don't usually like shooting during the middle of the day, but it was overcast and the light was just perfect.
Here is a sneak peak storyboard of the T Family, Baby L being the focus. He was 14 months, and very cute.

Miss G & Miss J
I have been meaning to post these images for a while, but I have been flat out! Which has been great, but I miss doing my blogging.
Also I had no net for a while, as I was changing over providers. (I'm now with iinet if you are wonder, and let me tell you so far excellent customer service).
The Twins were wonderful and here is a storyboard I made up for you to enjoy.

Miss T
I had my first photo shoot this week curtsey of the Urban Promotional book.
Miss T was energetic and very adorable. She had very beautiful eyes, she reminds me of Miss C a friends youngest daughter.
So here is a storyboard of some of my fav images of the day.
